Pursuit Boats To Unveil New S 280 Sport At Miami Boat Show

Pursuit Boats reports the upcoming introduction of the S 280 Sport model at the Miami Boat Show, which runs from February 12 – 16, 2009. The official introduction will take place on Friday, February 13 at 10:00 a.m. at the Pursuit Booth (#B-36) at the Miami Beach Convention Center.

According to Pursuit Boats, the S 280 Sport is the newest addition to the newly created Sport series, and completes the 2009 Pursuit Model Lineup.
The hull and deck are hand laid using the highest quality gelcoat and vinylester resins in the industry. Stringers are resin infused one piece fiberglass and are bonded into the hull with methacrylate adhesive. This process delivers a class leading boat ready for the challenge of any serious yachtsman and angler.

Immediately distinctive as a Pursuit is the classic hull flare and shear that defines the brand. The bow rail is recessed on the interior of the gunwale cap. The gunwale mounted hardware including wastewater, freshwater and fuel fills are flush mounted with premium stainless pop-up style cleats and navigation lights. Under-gunwale rod racks hold gaffs and other gear securely out of the way of on-deck activities.

Tom Slikkers, President of Pursuit Boats says, “The S 280 Sport makes perfect sense for the family who wants the convenience of a center console but with the amenities of an offshore model. You don’t find very many center console boats with a stainless steel refrigerator or with this much thought given to comfortable seating and luxury.”
