If you are boating in the waters near the North Carolina/Virginia border, watch out for floating Doritios.
The Virginian Pilot reports that four shipping containers were lost from a cargo vessel during a recent storm. One of the four containers washed up on a beach, scattering its cargo of a shipment of Doritos chips.
You might have seen the photos as thousands of Doritios bags washed up on shore, which were then collected by curious beachgoers. Of the four shipping containers lost, two contained Frito-Lay products, the other two contain paper products.
The other missing containers may still be floating around in the ocean. The Coast Guard has asked that boaters be on the lookout.
