Positive signs for boat sales at Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show

While concerns over the economy and fuel prices have some boat dealers fearing slower sales, business appears to have been brisk at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show.

While the final numbers are not yet in, The South Florida Sun-Sentinel is reporting that this year’s show definitely went smoother than 2005, which was delayed due to Hurricane Wilma.

Sales look strong for boats of all sizes, from large luxury yachts to more affordable boats.
